This capacious Christmas stocking can easily hold a variety of standard stocking stuffers, such as fruit, paperback books, CDs, or socks. The design is intriguingly complex, yet intermediate knitters can easily accomplish it. The stocking is knitted in the round.

Finished size: Approx. 7 1/2″ x 16 1/2″
Yarn: Approx. 310 yd worsted weight yarn
Needles: Size 8 (U.S.) 16″ circular and double-pointed knitting needles
Gauge: 5 sts/in (20 sts/10 cm) in stockinette stitch
The 8 1/2″ x 11″ pattern is 4 pages long and includes both written and charted directions and a color photograph of the Christmas stocking.
