I wove this variegated reversible hand towel with a warp of 8/2 unmercerized cotton. The lovely weft is an 8/2 unmercerized variegated cotton yarn. The pattern is a four-shaft point threading with a parallel repeat.
Handwoven towels have many uses, such as dish towels, tea towels, bread cloths, hand towels, and place mats. Soft and absorbent, all my handwoven towels are pre-shrunk.
Handwoven towels turn necessity into luxury. Indulge yourself every time you use one!
Everyday tasks such as drying your hands and doing the dishes become exceptional when using a handwoven towel. When you pick it up, you remember you are holding an individually made, comforting item that slows and calms your life, a towel that was woven by hand in my studio and was not simply one of thousands mass produced in a noisy industrial factory.
