Berry Handwoven Towel

Everyday tasks such as drying your hands and doing the dishes become exceptional when using a handwoven towel. When you pick it up, you remember you are holding an individually made, comforting item that slows and calms your life, a towel that was woven by hand in my studio and was not simply one of thousands mass produced in a noisy industrial factory. I wove this variegated reversible hand towel with a warp of 8/2 unmercerized cotton, making it soft and absorbent. The lovely weft is an 8/2 unmercerized variegated cotton yarn. The pattern, a four-shaft point threading with a parallel repeat, gives the fabric a geometrical look.

Use your handwoven towels in a variety of ways: as dish towels, tea towels, bread cloths, hand towels, or placemats.

Size: Approx. 18″ x 21″, hemmed. All my handwoven towels are pre-shrunk.

Fiber: 100% cotton

Care: Machine wash warm. Tumble dry.
